Brno International Business School

Strong in soon 30 years of experience in higher education, BIBS is the reference business school in sustainable development, social impact, and digital transformation. Our programs merge Business Management and Sustainable Development to train tomorrow’s responsible managers and purposeful leaders. 

BIBS emphasizes the professionalization of its training programs to enable graduates to smoothly enter the job market. Executive programs are designed for working professionals who want to upgrade their competence and skills to drive their organization toward more responsible and ethical practices.

1998: Foundation

Foundation of Brno International Business School in Czech Republic.

2002: Development

Ten years after its foundation, BIBS is ranked the second-best business school in Czech Republic by Eduniversal in the category “Excellent Business School, nationally strong and with continental links”.

2009: Accreditation

BIBS is recognized by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and of the Republic of China. BIBS MBA is accredited by the Czech institution CAMBA.

2011: Grounding

BIBS became a member of the Association of Small and Medium Sized Companies of the Czech Republic. With this membership, the school confirms its core mission, namely to assist to the development of local Small and medium sized firms.

2012: Research capacity

Creation and delivery of a research program funded by the European Commission in Strategic Management for SMEs managers/owners

2015: Institutionalisation

BIBS reaches a total number of 3000 students including 9% of foreign students. BIBS MBA is the biggest MBA program in the Czech Republic.

2020: Internationalisation

BIBS enters in a strategic cooperation with the European University Miguel de Cervantes, an international university based in Spain. In addition to enabling the delivery of a portfolio of master programs, this partnership is also the recognition of BIBS’s international recognition. 

2021: International award

BIBS enters the ranking of best business schools EdUniversal with three palmes. This makes the school enter the “400 schools in the 3 palmes league: Excellent Business Schools with reinforcing international influence”. 

2024: Foundation of MRQ

Management Research Quarterly (MRQ) is dedicated to publishing high-quality empirical research that not only advances management theory but also enriches management practice. MRQ welcomes a diverse array of empirical methods, and focuses on research that makes substantial empirical and theoretical contributions while demonstrating clear relevance to real-world management challenges.

2025: Strategic partnership with ZFP

BIBS starts a strategic cooperation with the ZFP Financial Academy to develop and deliver specialized bachelor’s and master’s programs in finance in Czech Republic. These programs uniquely combine robust theoretical foundations with practical financial skills, delivered in a flexible, weekend-based blended format suitable for working professionals and entrepreneurs.
