This 3-year undergraduate program in business and management is designed to bring students to their full potential. Based on experimentation and on an openness to the business scene, BIBS’s pedagogical approach seeks to teach students the fundamental knowledge while developing skills and competence aligned with their career prospects. This program offers courses in the fundamental disciplines of business and management, especially for young talents seeking to become Financial Advisor or Planner, Investment Specialist, Financial Analyst, Entrepreneur in Financial Services and Business Development Manager. Theoretical and applied modules provide students with the necessary tools and knowledge to become inspiring, international, and responsible changemakers.

Program Overview

The Bachelor in Financial planning is a unique three-year blended study program that combines academic rigor with real-world financial practice. Designed especially for professionals, entrepreneurs, and motivated individuals seeking to deepen their expertise in financial management, the program bridges personal and corporate finance, financial planning, and strategic investment.

  • Format: Blended (weekend-based, in-person + online)
  • Structure: Years 1–2: Financial modules by BIBS – Brno International Business School. Year 3: International financial management with a French partner institution
  • Language: Years 1–2 in Czech with Business English instruction; Year 3 in English
  • Location: Naháč, Velké Bílovice, Ostrava, and online
  • Credential: Bachelor degree upon completion
  • Certifications: Preparation for PFP (Professional Financial Planner) and EFA (European Financial Advisor) exams

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect during the admission interview?

The motivation interview takes place at the school’s head office in Prague or online, depending on where the applicant lives.
The purpose of this interview is to verify the adequacy and coherence of the applicant’s academic and professional project. It also allows us to evaluate the applicant’s personality traits.

The admissions procedure

We offer two intakes in the school year, one in Fall and one in Spring. Prior to the interview, the students are expected to send the following documents to BIBS:
– Academic transcripts
– CV and cover letter
– Reference lette​rs.
– English language test
– Admission interview

📝 Admission Requirements
– Completion of secondary education (maturita or equivalent)
– Basic English proficiency (improves systematically over 2 years)
– Motivation to grow professionally and academically

Graduation requirements

– successfully complete all compulsory courses
– submit a dissertation (at least 20 000 words) and successfully pass the viva-voce defense before the thesis defense committee.

Professional certifications

This program will prepare you for two recognized certification in the market of finance, financial planning and consulting. The EFA (European Financial Advisor Certificate) is one of the main quality standards in the financial advisory industry. The PFP certificate (Personal Financial Planning) focuses on investment planning process and techniques. These certificates are real assets for those seeking positions as financial advisors.
