International team of lecturers

Teaching and supervisions are performed by an international team of experienced visiting professors, docents and doctors from BIBS, JyU and other foreign universities. The team of supervisors and lecturers is of a truly international nature and covers teachers and supervisors from Finland, CR, Sweden, Great Britain, USA, Portugal and other countries.

Students’ supervisor teams

Each student has a team of 2 supervisors – one always from the University of Jyväskylä, the second one from the team of foreign and Czech supervisors of BIBS. The supervisions will take place not only in a long distance mode (E-supervisions at BIBS intranet, e-mail, phone), but, if desired by the student, also face to face (possibly also via videoconferences as an addition). Our experience in previous doctoral programmes (DBA programme) shows that a direct face-to-face contact with the supervisors is inevitable for the smooth course of the studies. Also, if needed, BIBS offers free of charge extra consultations with its professors and docents in methodology (in Brno or electronically) in Brno (or as individually agreed)
